ThirdLove Bras

I’d love to connect with you on Instagram, where I share home, health and lifestyle tips!

FIVE WORD REVIEW:

Too Expensive, Quality Not Spectacular

Overall: The bras are gorgeous, but ThirdLove charges department store prices (or more) without offering in-person fit assistance or the convenience of exchanging bras quickly, or providing refunds quickly. They have a “100% fit guarantee” but you can’t return a bra after wearing. If it is defective (like 2 of mine were after wearing), they will let you exchange BUT they have to receive your defective bra in the mail, process it, then they will ship out a replacement. At this price, I couldn’t afford multiples so that would have left me without an everyday bra for 1-2 weeks (can’t do it). They can take 30 business days to refund your money if it’s a straight return (!!). I would definitely recommend going to Nordstrom and making an appointment for a fitting if you are willing to dish out that kind of cash.

If they sold their bras at an in-person store I would definitely try them again.

I was SUPER excited to try ThirdLove after hearing about them on a few of my podcasts and hearing a woman created the bras and they specialize in fit. I have a very small band size and my cup overfloweth. You take a test to find out the best size and style of bra for you (loved this part!) then they recommend a few styles based on your shape and needs. Their bras are GORGEOUS! I ended up buying the 24/7 Perfect Coverage Bra ($68), the Classic Contour Plunge Bra ($68), and the 24/7 Classic strapless bra ($72). The packaging/box it arrives in is super cute and made me feel like Oprah to open.

They recommend that you ONLY HANDWASH their bras (who has time for that?). My bra looked kind of funny after I washed in the machine on handwash. I kept wearing it and only hand washed from there out. After a few months the seam ripped between the cup and the strap. As I mentioned earlier, they would let me exchange the defective bra, but they had to receive it back, process it, then ship out a replacement, and I didn’t want to be braless for that long so I sewed it myself. This is a big downfall of it being an online shop.

Honest, Unsponsored Review of Thirdlove Bras

When I was shopping for nursing bras they didn’t have my size (seems to be a common problem for larger chested ladies), but I tried a size that was close to mine. It wasn’t going to work so I returned it. Per their policy, they can take THIRTY BUSINESS DAYS to give you your money back. Seriously?!? This is a HUGE reason why I won’t order anything further because if you want to buy several bras to try on, you will be without that cash in your bank account for what could be up to 38 days. www.thirdlove.com
