Gumball Graduation Lei

This was given to my son years ago by his mentor at school and was a HUGE HIT!

It is a low skill, low time investment with high impact for the kindergartener or graduate in your life.

  1. Need 20-24 one inch gumballs (I like 1-2 colors) https://a.co/d/01FRyw1W

  2. Poly bag https://a.co/d/0bXh2wvq

  3. Ribbon (I cut this one in half)

  4. Scissors

Instructions:

Cut the poly bag to about 56”. Depending on how tight you tie the gumballs in, you may need less. It’s harder to fix it being too short.

Tie one double knot onto the poly bag. Then load in 24 gumballs. Tie a knot close to the gumball super tight.

When you get to the last 2 gumballs, overlap the ends and tie down the end.
