FIVE WORD REVIEW: SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE OTHERS

What they are: very fancy magnetic eyelashes that you can wear up to 60 times.

I PURCHASED:

Venus and Honey magnetic lashes and the Soo future Magnetic Felt Liner for $61.03 with a promotion.

I saw a Bachelor Babe share about these lashes on IG and wasn’t sure what to make of them (they looked too easy). I have been tinkering with Ardell’s magnetic lashes from Target for a year or so and have mostly been a fan. I found a coupon that was ‘buy two lashes, get a liner for free’ and I picked Honey and Venus.

If you are going to try one pair, I’d recommend Honey, as they are the shorties/cat eye. Venus is also fun but it’s a full lash.

HOW EASY ARE THEY TO APPLY/USE?

The packaging is Fun with a Capital F, but most importantly, the lashes FEEL so different than Ardell or any other brand I’ve tried. They feel thick and luxurious. They also come with tiny “anchors” or a few single lashes on a magnet to apply on the ends of your lashes as needed to keep them in place better (you sandwich your real lashes between the falsie and the anchor). Those have been above my skill level at this point.

I used the magnetic felt liner, which reminds me a LOT of my Kat Von D eyeliner (which I swear by). Because I already had practice using a felt eyeliner pen, this pen was pretty easy to use.

I only did one coat, but for extra hold you could do another layer in the corners of your eyes (where the ends of the lashes will be).

To care for them: they say to “simply scratch off the dried magnetic liner off the magnets in between uses to clean your lashes and keep in our special case.” I do worry about bacteria and eye infections, so I would say to be sure to wash your hands before applying.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

For me, customer service is just as important as the product, and Glamnetic really came through for me. After I wore them once, Sadie picked up the box and it opened and my lash fell to the bathroom floor. I wrote in to them asking for help and possible sterilization techniques, but instead they are sending out a one-time complementary replacement. THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT!!

In summary: more expensive than drugstore magnetic lashes, but you get what you pay for and they are worth the price difference in my opinion.

Has anyone else tried them??!
