WalMart Walkabout
It’s time to discover some hidden gems and big price savings at Wal Mart!
Hello Bello brought us to Wal Mart: where the diaper packs are $7.97 and wipes are $5.24 for THREE packs, but we stayed for the Kerrygold!
The new Hello Bello line had me in Wal Mart for the first time in years. As I made a beeline to the back of the store, I noticed a striped black shirt with a little twist that reminded me of Madewell’s popular tees. For $11.98 I figured it was worth a shot and bought it. It has turned out to be one of my favorite shirts and I’ve already worn it at least 10 times (making it $1.10 per wear, which is VERY good!). I was back in the store today and got the white version as well. For those of you who (like myself) may not have been to Wal Mart in awhile, you may give it another thought! Here are some of my finds from today and a great place to dip your toe in to the super store:
Kerrygold Butter is 0.81 cents less at Walmart than Whole Foods.
Kerrygold butter: Coming in almost a dollar less than Whole Foods, you better believe I stocked up on this deliciousness ($3.69 for 8oz at Whole Foods, $2.88 for 8 oz at Wal Mart).
California Olive Oil: you get 30.4 MORE ounces for $2.41 LESS that the price on Amazon!!
2. California Olive Oil: On Amazon this is $17.99 for 16.9 oz. At Wal Mart it is $15.58 for 47.3 oz. That means you get 30.4 MORE ounces for $2.41 LESS. Yes… that math is crazy. Go to Wal Mart to buy fancy Olive Oil. There, I said it. ( I could write an article about olive oil in general, but trust me when I saw this is nice olive oil).
The CUTEST little lady dress for $4.97! Looks identical to Hanna Anderson, but the quality is not quite as great (but you can’t beat that price and it’s DARLING!).
3. Assorted Baby and girls’ clothes: The above dress is SO darling and only for $4.97! It looks strange, like they are selling it in a 2 pack online that’s sold out, but they had plenty in-store at our local Wal Mart sold individually.
My new-favorite black and white striped twist tee for $11.97. I got a large and it’s a loose fit.
4. The trusty black and white twist tee: I don’t usually buy fast-fashion, but I literally have worn it at least 10 times and so far it’s held up PRETTY well, so I’m at $1.10 per wear and can’t complain!
