The stitches you use for the bag are:

Single Crochet, Half Double Crochet, Lace Stitch, Slip Stitch

A friend started crocheting raffia bags and I became obsessed! I found a video on YouTube to stitch along to and am OBSESSED with how it turned out. Raffia bags are everywhere, from Sezane to Celine to YSL. This particular pattern was created by Stella M and is inspired by the YSL ‘PANIER’ bag.

SHOPPING LIST

  • 2 rolls of raffia in brown (you will have ~half a roll extra)

  • 3.5mm crochet hook

  • Some kind of stitch marker. You can use a safety pin. I made a cute marker with a bead and large lobster claw (see photo below)
